A consortium of universities, local enterprise partnerships and businesses in the East of England is in the process of completing a Science and Innovation Audit (SIA) on behalf of the Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The region – which includes Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Hertfordshire, Essex, Southend, Thurrock, Rutland and two Lincolnshire Districts (South Kesteven and South Holland) – is one of eight that have been invited by Government to prepare a “second wave” SIA.
The SIA will identify the region’s science and innovation strengths and potentials in relation to four key Themes: Advanced Manufacturing and Materials (including manufacturing); Agritech; Life Science; and ICT.
This short questionnaire has been designed to enable businesses in the field of Advanced Manufacturing and Materials to contribute to the Audit, and looks to identify how and where SMEs collaborate with science and innovation organisations. It should not take more than five minutes to complete, and we would be grateful for any evidence you are able to provide. This will be aggregated with evidence from other businesses and used as part of the wider evidence base for the Audit.
We would be grateful for responses by Friday 21st April 2017.
