Introduction
SQW Ltd has been commissioned by Durham University to support the development of a business case for the proposed Centre for Health Data (C4HD). At this stage, the C4HD is envisioned to be a multi sector research and innovation centre that will enable new business development, jobs growth, knowledge exchange and strengthen the research capability in the region. It will use complex public data sources, from a wide range of public sector organisations, to support businesses to create new products and services, and support individual and community health and wellbeing outcomes.
The C4HD proposition has intentionally not yet been finalised – it will be honed and refined in light of your comments and the feedback from other survey respondents. The purpose of the survey is to understand the extent to which your business might be interested in engaging with the C4HD and if so, what form this could take.
We recognise that the effects of COVID-19 mean that this is a difficult time for businesses and we genuinely appreciate your support in this important study process.
How your response will be stored and used
The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Any information you provide will be treated in confidence, and your answers will not be attributed to you or your business. Your responses will be used alongside other research evidence gathered as part of the study and inform reporting to Durham University. Survey data will be stored electronically on SQW’s secure network, with access only available to the research team involved in the study.
If you have any queries about this survey, please contact Donald Ross at SQW via dross@sqw.co.uk.
