Evaluation of the Improving Surgical Training pilot
Evaluation of Improving Surgical Training
has been commissioned by Health Education England to undertake an independent evaluation of the Improving Surgical Training (IST) pilot to assess whether the pilot is making a difference to the quality of training experienced by core surgical trainees. The evaluation will take place between February 2019 and December 2021.
As part of the evaluation, we wish to gain your insights into how the IST pilot is affecting Foundation Year 2 surgical trainees. This survey will take 10 minutes.
How your response will be stored and used
The results of this e-survey will be stored electronically on our secure network. Access to this is limited to members of the evaluation team at SQW. We will be analysing the e-survey overall and presenting aggregate data, rather than individual responses. In some cases, we may choose to use specific quotes from open questions; in these cases, we will ensure that the information is completely anonymous and cannot be used to identify any individual that has responded to the survey. Our report will be shared with the project and with the Government and it might be published more widely.
Thank you in advance for your time.
